Who is eligible to enroll in the Sedation Certificate Program?

The program is designed for non-anesthesia healthcare practitioners, including nurses, physician assistants, dentists, and podiatrists, and other health professionals who participate in sedation procedures.

What will I learn in this program?

Participants will gain knowledge and competencies in: 

  • Pre-sedation patient assessment 
  • Pharmacology of sedation agents and reversal medications

The sedation program is online (synchronous and asynchronous) and includes:

Does this program provide a Certificate? 

Yes. This program provides a Basic, Advanced, and a Master’s of Science in Sedation certificate upon successful completion.
